The information we hold about you and why we hold it:

We are Aksim Surgical Ltd, our contact details are 166 High St, Hounslow, Middx, TW3 1BQ, 07448 710704.

If you have any complaints or need to contact us about your information, then please contact us at aksimsurgical@outlook.com.

We have collected your name, practice name, address, phone number and email address for any or all of the following purposes:

  • For the legal requirement under Medical Devices legislation (for recalls); we must retain this indefinitely.
  • If we have delivered to you and/or if we have received a direct send order from your dealer, the delivery name and address we must retain for seven years to comply with HMRC rules.
  • For the legitimate interest of keeping you informed about dental products you use or may use and so that we can generate new business. We will hold this information until you inform us you no longer wish to hear from us (by sending OPT-OUT to aksimsurgical@outlook.com).

During the processing of your data we may need to pass it to other companies which are: couriers or delivery services.

You have the following rights over your personal information:

Right of Access – The personal information we hold about you belongs to you and not us, you have the right to request access to all personal information we hold.

Right to Correct your information – If we have incorrect information about you, then you have the right to correct that information.

Right of Deletion – If we do not have a valid reason to hold or process your information you can request that we erase the information.

Right of Restriction – If you believe that that we do not have a valid reason to hold your information, you have the right to force us to stop processing until you allow us to, or we can prove that we do have a valid reason.

Right to Object – If we are using a legal reason called Legitimate Interest to process your data, you have the right to object to us doing so. We will then have to prove that we do have that right.

You have the right to complain to the Information Commissioners Office (ICO) if you think that we are not upholding your rights or are processing your data unlawfully. To contact the ICO you can raise a complaint on their website https://ico.org.uk.
