Stubby Luxating Periotome Titanium Coated. Luxation Periotomes are used as a periodontal ligament knife with fine tapering blade that compresses the alveolar bone, cuts the membrane and gently ease the tooth from its socket. Stubby (shorter length, larger diameter) handles make extraction safer as the user's finger can be placed at the instrument tip. Autoclavable. Manufactured with French stainless steel point and coated with titanium for flexibility.
REMEMBER – The luxating periotome is NOT an elevator, using too much force
inappropriately and in the wrong direction could fracture the instrument or harm the
patient. Work slowly to dilate the socket. Please see the instructions before use.
